Projects range from a single graphic to a whole-playground scheme. As a guide, individual markings start from around £50 to £300, and our package bundles start from £2,500, but the price depends on the number of designs, the area, the surface and access. We give a free design and site survey and a fixed quote, with transparent pricing and a price match promise, so you know the cost before anything is booked.

Playground markings are made from premium, non-toxic thermoplastic. The thermoplastic is melted and bonded onto the playground surface, and it is self-cleaning, extra reflective and non-slip. The material is rigorously tested and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Yes. Our thermoplastic markings are non-toxic and give an anti-slip finish, and our work complies with BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177, the British Standards for playground surfacing. The material is bonded to the surface with heat, so it stands up to constant footfall and wet weather without becoming slippery.

Thermoplastic playground markings last several years. They keep their colour and their anti-slip grip through daily footfall and British weather, because the thermoplastic is melted and bonded to the surface rather than sitting on top of it.

Most single-playground primary schemes are installed in a day. We prep the surface, apply the hard-wearing thermoplastic and it cures quickly, so disruption is kept low. Larger multi-zone or MUGA projects are staged over a little longer, and we can work weekends or school holidays where that suits you.

Yes. Uniplay removes old or unwanted playground markings with specialist equipment, without damaging the underlying surface, so a tired playground can be cleared and re-marked with a fresh design.

Playground markings support the National Curriculum. Number grids, maps, clocks and phonics trails take maths, literacy and geography outdoors, mini roadways teach road safety, and daily mile tracks support PE, across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Yes. Schools can fund playground markings with the PE and Sport Premium where the markings increase daily physical activity and widen participation, which meets the aims of the premium. Thermoplastic markings are a one-off, long-lasting improvement, so they are a sustainable use of the funding.

Yes. Uniplay provides a warranty and aftercare on every installation, and we can carry out annual maintenance and safety visits to keep the markings in good order long after they go down.
